European "bio" barriers for Latin American farmers?

The organic coffee and bananas consumed by the EU come mostly from Latin America and the Caribbean. But small producers will not be able to with the new certifications. The European rules of the Green Deal, approved in 2018, entered into force in January 2022; organic farming practices include crop rotation for efficient use of resources, ban on pesticides, strict limits on antibiotics, ban on genetically engineered organisms (GMOs), and, among other things, natural fertilizers.
